1922bigsix
I want to remove the front brake cable from the power brake unit on my 1933 836 Pierce Arrow. The cotter pin is broken off where the cable attaches to the output arm of the power brake unit so it can't be pulled out, and there is no exit hole on the output arm for the cotter pin. I'm a hesitant to drill it out without knowledge of the structure of the connection between the power brake unit and the cable. What exactly is the cotter pin doing in this place? Any help would be appreciated.Tom
1922bigsix
Got it worked out. The exit hole for the pin was occluded with grease so it was invisible. Tom
