1940_Dodge
Every picture I have seen of a D14 Dodge the front bumper does not have these two upper portions. Was the a bumper from another model car, aftermarket addition, or a homebrew setup from a guy pretty good with metal working?http://i.imgur.com/BVgR1.jpg (Hi Res)
Guest 1930
Cow pusher, added on after the fact, might be home made or might be an accesory. Looks home made
Guest Foggy norm
Center part look's original, the end's appear homebrew.
keiser31
The bumper and guards at the ends are absolutely correct for the 1940 Dodge. The two horizontal center bars may have been added later. Edited March 10, 2012 by keiser31 (see edit history)
34dodger
The outside guards and bars are factory, the center bar looks home made. '39 Dodge is similar.
Guest Foggy norm
IT was the rust that swayed my opinion, you guy's are to good!
Guest 1930
The reason prob that you cannot find the ends is because as I mentioned it was an add on, many would consider un-attractive, the purchaser would have had to pay extra for the guards. I would keep them on there, maybe it was part of a deluxe package. Worth looking into
keiser31
The end guards were an option for the DELUXE and the two center bars were added by someone.
