89TC-16V
i was looking and i know i need a replacement muffler for my TC this summer to finish it. can i just pull the tip off and use it on another muffler? is the TCs exhaust diameter 2.5in or less. i have a complete exhaust with the masi downpipe already built from my masi daytona and its is a full 2.5 in downpipe, magnaflow cat and magnaflow round muffler and was wondering what size it is throughout, precat and after cat on a stock TC exhaust. Bill Reichert
I used FWD 2.5" from cat back and an oval muffler. If you don't do a couple cuts and welds around the axle, the muffler sits a little crooked. I had this one installed but I did a couple on 87 Chrysler GTS's and they fit well. You can get a 2.5 wide chrome downturn for the muffler without much problem.
89TC-16V
i was hoping to keep it looking like it had the correct muffler only really. the 2.5 setup i have was from fwdp and its only clamped, not welded so i can make some adjustments as its on my daytona and the rear is very similar, but havent had the TC off the ground to look
