brad54 Posted February 28, 2012 Share Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) Due to severe weather, the swap meet has been bumped back one day, to SUNDAY, MARCH 4The NE Georgia Swap Meet’s 2012 Season kicks off this Saturday, March 3, at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia!We’re proud to (finally) officially announce that the NE Georgia Swap Meet has moved to the Atlanta Dragway. We're inside the main gates, in the paved pit area of the complex—flat, hard, clean surface for vendors to set up on, no hills for spectators to walk up and down, and no muddy ground or grass clippings.This should be great for our event, as not only is the facility better, but the track has weekly test-and-tune and regular Saturday bracket racing program, and their management is going to work with us to actively promote the show to their racers to increase our attendance. Vendor set-up is 7am, gates open to the public at 8:30.Show will be over at 2pm.Vendor spaces are $20 for all the space you need.Spectator entry is $5.Spectators and vendors will enter the racer’s gate, to the left at the end of the main driveway into the property. Directions:I-85 to Exit 149—Banks Crossing/Hwy 441. NORTH (or West) Highway 441.LEFT at SECOND stoplight, onto Steven B. Tanger Blvd.First RIGHT (before Applebee’s) onto East Ridegway Road.
