Lawteachr
I was at the Atlantic City, NJ Car Auction on 02/25/12, a unique 1958 Olds 88 Fiesta Wagon J-2, standard trans, factory air went through for around $40,000 , shortly after a great looking 1956 Packard Caribbean Convertible(needing interior upgrade) went through at $42,500. Then a 80's Corvette came up, sparkle paint, tear drops painted on the hood, loud mufflers and pulled around $50,000. Who can figure. As in the Twilight Zone episode"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
Harold
I guess that's what makes horse races. How were the crowds/cars at AC in general? I hemmed and hawed about attending, then decided against it.
1937hd45
That event died around 1978, think that was the year it snowed and a restored 1903 Ford sold for $7,000. I guess that's what makes horse races. How were the crowds/cars at AC in general? I hemmed and hawed about attending, then decided against it. Lawteachr
The place was crowded, some great looking cars. Probably my last year going there, much rather go to Macungie or Carlisle, PA.
