Iain M.
Anybody have any experience replacing the rear quarter windows on a 47 LC?? Have been working on this for days & not getting very far. Unfortunately, I wasn't the one who took them out, so am having to re-invent the wheel. There must be a proper sequence & a few tricks to doing it, would appreciate any help. Thanks, Iain
Waldren
It has been a good many years but I just started a 42 coupe and will be removing them. There are screws behind the headliner and down the door post (under the weather strip) I remember using a lot of dish soap to lubricate the rubber going in.. There are screws behind the quarter upholstery below the window they go in lastSince you have them out it will be easier to mark where the bolts are behind the headliner and down the door post. I thought I'd never get them out back in the 60"s when I done my first ones.My Connie is stripped out and I would be glad to help you any way I can get photos or talk you thru it.smiley303us@yahoo.com or calll me 239 989 1048 Leroy Waldren Fort, Myers, Fl.
