Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Share Posted March 26, 2002 Just a general question about oil filters. I was using Wix filters in my Packard but someone had recommended Baldwin. Since I don't know anything about this make (have heard the name) thought I would throw this out for feedback. Anyone have experience with Baldwin? Guest Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 The only filter I would use on my car would be a paper type.The "Rag"filters (filled with cotton-mill scraps) simply "channel"--- the oil finds an easy route and goes through,coming out essentially the way it went in.Some filter are filled with material that does no better.
