FS: 1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster

????? What the heck was that, Larry????? It certainly looks Auburnish. I saw one just like it in an ad sitting outdoors,falling apart, badly in need of resto for $10K. It was a coupe however, and i believe it was an original. I think the guy down under may have missed the word "replica", and thought you were trying to pass it off as an original 1936. It certainly isn't a Batmobile, or a Lamborgini. It has to at least be a "something else" LOL.

Well, it is not an original, it is a replica and there is one on a classic car dealers showroom floor exactly like it only a different color, built by the same company. Their price is $55,000 with a lot more miles on the car

It is not 1936 and it certainly is not an Auburn boat tail or anything else. It is not even a good counterfeit.

Sorry for the pun Larry. I know it really doesn't. I just couldn't resist a little jab.

I remember seeing one of these at a car show back in the 80's. These retro cars were all the rage then.
