Guest groingo
If you are going to show your Reatta or drive it daily I would say stay with the NOS windshield but if you drive occasionally want to save some significant weight and many other benefits over glass along with lower price ($468.00 less freight) then you might want to check these guys out. Polycarbinate thermo formed windshield's currently used in Nascar, SCCA, ALMS and Rolex racing and now V8 Supercar's for years and they are amazingly tough and durable rain or shine, just offering this as an alternative just in case.SHIELDS® Premier Windscreens Shields and Canopies
Guest Recian
Im sure the reatta's huge winshield is heavy and dropping as much weight off the car as you can will always help this car seeing as it's got alot of power but the weight is too high for power to weight ratio to work to make it as sporty as it looks. Also i'd rather pay $500 or so for a winshield than $1200+ for a glass one. I know where a 89 sits with good glasses in the junkyard but im no good at taking them out. An alternative rear glass would be nice. Not to mention alternative window seals. My rear window glass's seal looks like someone took sandpaper to it. It's gone instead of being a nice curved seal. Guest groingo
Well, the windows do come with seals and they can make the rear one as well, less the defogger. When I spoke to them this morning they had just gotten the new forms in for the 2013 V8 Supercar's, who'd a thunk it, windows for the premier Australian Racing series made in Indiana....that really helped make my day, have been a V8 fan for many years!
