Jolly_John
Hi. As I was looking for a 1939 Buick starter solenoid among my stuff, I uncovered this later Buick starter solenoid (pictured). I have no recall as to the year of car I removed this from a long, long time ago. I'm sure it is from the 6-volt eraSo, can someone please I.D. this solenoid for me. THANKS in advance for any help. startergenrebuilder
Should be numbers stamped in to one of the mounting feet where it bolts on to the starter. Feel free to contact me directly if you need further help.

Jolly_John
Hats off to Jason! I cleaned the base of this solenoid, and found the Delco Remy part number...1118148. My trusty parts book indicates it fits 1951-52 Buick, all series, and 1953 Buick, 40 series. Thanks again for the suggestion, Jason. I'll PM you tomorrow about a couple of things. Best, John
