Durant Mike
I just found out that we lost another good car guy on January 16th. Norm Miller of Davenport, Iowa passed from a heart attack. He was 86 years young. Many of you may not know Norm, but he was a member of the AACA for quite some time and a member of the Durant Motors Automobile Club (had a Star car). He was the Norm in Norms Antique Auto Parts and ran a successful speedometer, and dash gauge restoration business as well as selling many of our much needed parts for pre-war cars. He also was a regular contributor in our magazines "Mystery Vehicle" section often providing us with the names of those hard to identify old vehicles in those old family photographs. Never met the man, but I am well aware of his contributions to our hobby. May he rest in peace.
