convertible molding ID (40's-early50's)

I posted this on the AACA "What is it" forum, and didn't get any bites.

Got these with a car. They appear to be from a rather large convertible. There are door and rear beltline moldings, a three piece pinchweld molding set, and one long strip (probably fender molding). They don't have the type of clips I am used to seeing on mid-50's GM cars, which is why I believe they are meant for something earlier and not GM. I have taken some pics to try to show the clips. Maybe one of you has seen these before.

I can take measurements and better pictures if we get in the ballpark.
