Guest wacker
Hi,Does the grille from a 1946 fit a roadmaster 1948 without any major modifications? It looks like it should but its better to check before I buy one.I think I would like the look more than the original one on my 48.
42crazy
Just remove the chrome piece on the lower front edge of the hood, and the '42 or '46 grille will fit.
smithbrother
46 grills show up on ebay OFTEN, I recently purchased a very nice one for $100.00, and saw a very nice one sell for less than $60.00 just last week, I am making a jam box out of mine, with large leather shoulder strap. I know, it sounds stupid, but it's fun, FUN IS GOOD! $550.00 is too much to pay, WAYto much to pay for one. Dale in Indy

smithbrother
Has the top been chopped, or just camera angle? Too, tires look wider, have you upgraded suspension? That must be SEMI-GLOSS paint, huh? Dale in Indy
Guest wacker
I guess it just the angle.Suspension is still original but it will need some work. Im planning for airride but that will have to wait to next winter. To many projects on it already.Right now Im rewiring the car and converting to 12v. It takes some time to get it to look nice. Then its the engine, paint, pregnant wife.. Semi-gloss is the right word, actually its primer. But the color will be gloss when finnished to.I have only owned the car for 6 months.
