bearestir
My dad just acquired a 1939 Buick that does not have a horn ring. I would like to buy him one for a present. However, I am having trouble locating one. Does anyone know where one can be found?Thank you.

danhar1960
You do have to wonder about some businesses. I think he lists the stuff on ebay also and probably doesn't do the upkeep on his website. Slack not to reply though. Were you after something now or is this a past experience ?? danhar1960
Are you still having problems with the pitman shaft and arm ?? Is it just the splines that are jiggered on yours and the wheel on your pitman (sector) shaft OK ?? If so I can probably help you out there.Danny

Guest Grant Magrath
Yeah, the arm! The steering box is adjusted up as much as it can go and there's still a little play in the wheel that's coming from the steering box, as opposed to other sources of play.Danny, thanks for the offer, but would a pitman shaft from a right hand drive car work in a lefty? I imagine it would. Maybe someone with a master parts book can offer some advise?CheersGrantPS The play is minimal, so no big concern. It would be nice to have some more adjustment left on the box though!
