padgett
90 'vert trunk. Just started. Trunk can only be opend with glove box button and not key or RKE. Anyone remember what causes this ? Since glove button works it is not the tonneau interlok and RKE (two of them) can lock/unlock doors but not open trunk.
Guest Richard D
As I remember the lock cylinder is turning a switch to unlock the trunk, there is no mechanical connection between them. Could there be a seperate fuse or ground for the RKE and key switch? It makes no sense to wire it that way but it is a Reatta.Best of luck.R. Guest Mc_Reatta
They all get their power from different sources, so check fuses #s 3 and 2. # 17 powers the glove box switch so it is OK. Slight chance that a short in the key switch is siphoning off the signal enough to keep the relay from tripping with the keyless but still allows the glove box switch to blast through or moth the keyless module and the key switch are inop. Then all of their signals combine at splice 408 near the passenger's side wheel well in the trunk before going to the relay. (3 Black wires) Should have 12 v present when any switch is pressed. From the relay on back it's all the same so if one works they all should work.Check of 12v should tell the tale.
padgett
Dunno, opened & closed a few times and now it works. A miracle.
Guest Mc_Reatta
Now you may be dragging a loose ground connection or dirty relay contact into the mix.If so you'll be finding out in the near future.
