Guest stude8
A friend has a 1917 Studebaker touring model EK that has a defective rear axle pinion shaft "Roller Cage" bearing, photo attached below. Since we have no factory parts catalog for this assembly we can't identify maker or maker part number. If anyone can direct us to a source for this type bearing we would be very thankful. A scan of the trans axle rear end is also attached if it is of any value.Stude8
pvstudebak
You might try vintage auto parts in Denver Co. I've had luck finding parts there.Vintage Auto Parts, Inc.Virgil
studerex
Hey John Those cage type roller bearings are still availble. Measure the shaft od and id of the hole and length. A bearing supply house like motion industries, bearing service or bearing headquarters shouild be able to get it. I needed a similar one for the 31 trans and was able to find it just from the dimentions.
