Guest markrush
Someone on eBay is selling a tool to remove the door handle and window crank pin in order to remove them and the door panel. They say it works on the '39-'54 Chryslers. The manual says the Chrysler tool was part #C-533. It's going for $32.49 with shipping and may go higher. Is this a unique tool or is is something that is somewhat generic that is available elsewhere cheaper?
auburnseeker
I see a new version of one listed on ebay about every other week. They all seem to get bid to the 30.00 range. I have been waiting for one to go a little cheaper. I think someone bought an original tool and copied it. Now they are selling the copies. I haven't seen any other suppliers for it yet. 35cz8
I always just push the decorative cover plate back, by hand, then use a nail to push the pin out. Always worked great and no tool to misplace.
