Guest packard400
To finish repairing my 1955 Packard's Torsion-Level Suspension, the mechanic doing the work needs a wiring diagram of theinside of the Compensator Control Box. Does anyone knowwhere I can find one? Thanks. Mark Curatolo
HH56
Here is a complete 55 TL diagram. There is other info in the literature section at Packardinfo.com. Per factory instructions, some 55 cars had the 56 switch installed if the original switch failed. The internal workings of the switches are identical but the outside terminals which were prone to corrosion on the 55s are a bit different. If you have that switch change, because of the different terminals there will be a short pigtail with different wire colors spliced to the original TL loom.
