Vincent Vega
When I bought my 88(#828) the suede was OK. A little on the thin side with a small tear on the seat back. The color was not the dark rich color it was from the factory, but it was still suede. The leather was fine. Over the next two years it really broke down. Being on a beer budget I looked to a local guy to find a way to fix the seat. He was able to locate a fabric that matched up quite well. It was a little over 300.00 to fix the suede, repair the bolster, and recover the console armrest(vinyl). Other than looking a little crisper than the other suede it looks great. We matched it outside in sunlight. You can see I brushed the nap on the lower seat back before I took the pic. It appears as a darker patch.
