Tach drive distributor

Recommended Posts

Delco and others built an adapter that went under the distributor and raised it about 4", from the side came a speedometer cable fitting for tach drive. These were commonly used on fire engines. The tach was mounted on a control panel on the side of the vehicle where the operator could control engine speed while he was on the ground and the engine was pumping water. Great units as they required no modification to mount.
