Guest outlaw car man
Another view, same garage doors. Notice the mailbox, it's I think, 4 feet up from the street. It's Colorado, depends on the week-This was a couple years ago. I'm on the high plains, talk to Mike, he's up there-Imagine what they did in 1933 to move around in these conditions, chains and all ? Sandy I expected lots more white stuff....Happy New Year Everybody!
Mark Shaw
I have a buddy who lived on Mt. Hood & wrapped hemp rope around his tires between the wood spokes. It works great on snow....
FLYER15015
Weather report from Buena Vista, Colorado altitude 8550 ft.As of noon on the last day of 2011, temp is 32 F, wind NNW @ 42mph gusts to 55mph, and no snow below the tree line ( approx 11 K ft).Tomorrow, the High Rocky Riders ATV club will take it's traditional 50 mile plus ride in the "Four Mile" area just east of B.V. We expect 20+ die hard riders. Gotta love that "global warming". Thanks Al.Then it's time for Mikey to mount his ice racing tires on the Grizzly 750 and motor over to Woodland Park, Colorado, on January 8th, to defend his state championship once again in the Utility Sport class.I'll take along my son Matt who is the defending state champ in the "A" bare tire, AND "A" studded motorcycle classes. You can catch him on youtube under "Superfly 224"....via his Go Pro camera.Happy New Year To Everyone,Mike in Colorado
Guest outlaw car man
wonderful idea, never thought of that. In Colorado when it gets that deep, we ride horses or ski to work. Now THAT's deep. I have a buddy who lived on Mt. Hood & wrapped hemp rope around his tires between the wood spokes. It works great on snow....

Marty Roth
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from New Orleans, LouisianaWe were at 75 degrees with a 5 mph breeze under sparklingly clear skies.I recall the years of working in New York City and Poughkeepsie, NY - freezing cold, and getting to work with slush in my socks. -- Then Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and the constantly blowing winds and sub-zero temps - having to "plug-in" the cars which sat outside overnight.Great memories, but now we go to the snow when we want to, and then back home to tour "topless" all year long.Best to all for the New Year ! Guest outlaw car man
It's actually pretty nice here in Colorado, calling for 70 on Thursday. One of my neighbors was driving around in a Model A yesterday with the kids in the jump seat ( Brrrr, but kids ) Snow usually melts around here in a week, sun everyday- One of our best kept secrets. Mild temps. However we do get nailed from time to time- No grandkids in the pool here, more like ice skates-Spend the days in the shop working on Buick projects, rebuilding things. I lied, spend some of the days in the shop, rest are spent on honey-dos inside house projects- Sandy
