57 special floor/frame

Anybody can point me towards a picture or two of what my 57 special 2 door post frame/floor is supposed to look like ? I'm removing whats left of the floor which was mostly gone when i bought the car this week. I want to restore it, the upper body is very solid and straight but the rockers are gone and i will need sime patch panels in several areas as well as a whole new floor.... I'm worried that the bottom may be too far gone, just not sure. Any pictures or reference to some would be most appreciated ! Thanks

Hi there! I have a 2 dr sedan Special as well. I have attached some pictures that I did when I replaced my floor 20 yrs ago. You can buy the floor pans and rocker inner and outer on ebay for your 57. Hope this helps. Make sure you take tons of pictures when you start the work and post them on the forum here. Lots of 1957 Buick owners out there enjoy the work that you do, and it helps others out who are thinking of doing the same type of work.

Jim, thanks so much for the help here... I only wish mine was as complete and there as yours....mine is so far gone its pathetic ! Theres nothing even on the inside to attach a new rocker panel to ! When i figure out how to post pictures i will post some and you can see for yourself
