Guest dougklink
MY '36 12 sedan (1407) has original paint and interior. I thought the interior was gray until I actually put a gray carpet sample in it (the carpet was missing when I got it) but it seems to be a greenish gray with a little brown in it. Ditto the exterior, looks like gun metal gray but has a bit of a greenish hue, even in areas that never saw the sun.Does anyone have a similar color and have you been able to find carpet that matches?Does anyone have a 1936 factory publication showing interior or exterior colors and what they were called??Thanks
1935Packard
I have some exterior paint chips for 1936 senior cars, but it only has 6 of the colors -- the ones available on the senior cars but not the junior cars. There was a color in '36, "Gunmetal Light", which sounds like a possible match, although it was also available on the 120 so I don't have a paint chip for it.
