Guest shiner
On the 1927 DB Senior Six it appears that the generator will need to be removed. Not making 6 volts. There are three screws attaching the generator. What else besides removing these screws do I need to know. I don"t want any suprises. Thanks for any input.Brian

Guest 1930
Not familiar with this set-up but would suggest you get some additional input, is that not also the timing chain in which case you would want to be extra carefull not to move the engine over as I have heard alot of guys over the years on here struggling with this. I may be waay of base here though
2251DB
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY,REMOVE THE CHARGE WIRE FROM THE GENERATOR.UNDO THE THREE BOLTS THAT YOU MENTIONED AND THE GENERATOR WILL COME OUT,THE TIMING CHAIN WILL STAY IN TENSION BECAUSE OF THE OTHER BRACKET WITH THE ADJUSTING BOLT. THE GENERATON SHOULD CLEAR THE CARBYBEFORE REMOVAL TRY TO SEE IF ALL THREE BRUSHES ARE IN CONTACT USUALLY BY LIFTING THE BRUSH HOLDING ARM AND LETTING THE SPRING RELEASE QUICKLY ONTO THE BRUSHLET US KNOW HOW YOU FIX THE PROBLEM THANKYOU 2251DB
