Guest 32RockneRoadster
I have been getting a LOT of questions on these NOS DIETZ driving lights with brackets, wires, and "Arkless" on / off switch. These are cloth loomed wire 6 volt driving lights from DIETZ New York, Model 510 with a 5 1/2" diameter case.PRICE IS $250.00 FOR THE SET + USPS "PRIORITY SHIPPING" W CONFIRMATION OR UPS IF YOU PREFER. INTERNATIONAL IS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS W A $10 HANDLING FEE FOR "Customs Documents" Many people know that Guide, DIETZ, Unity and Trippe didn't do the best plating jobs back in the day. BUT THESE ARE PRISTINE! The one light is absolutely PERFECT.So I have uploaded the ONLY flaw I see on these is in picture titled "DIETZD" on the bezel itself. It is the FIRST picture I uploaded, YOU CANT MISS THE PLATED LINE IN THE PICTURE>It is a mm long "hair like" mark that was there PRIOR to the plating from the factory; so it is not damaged after they were made, it was there before DIETZ niquel plated these lights. The finish is LIKE NEW, or your money back, it's as simple as that. Other than "ultra fine" lines here and there that wax removes which IS the "norm" on these lights; these lights are pristine right down to the pattern on the sealed beam bulbs.Want to change them to 12 volt? Then SIMPLY buy some 12 volt sealed beams! It's as simple as that.I can only assume with one black wire exiting these lights tells me that these are for a positive ground 6 volt car like my 1932 Rockne ( my Avatar) Roadster, or like ALL the cars made in that era. SO, they will work on a positive ground or negative ground system , or w 6 or 12 volt bulbs. COMPLETE WITH THE NOS BOXES, AND INSTRUCTIONS.BIG PICTURES coming tomorrow of my NOS TRIPPE "Flat Back" lights and my NOS UNITY lights. I also have PerLux200 lights, K&D NOS and more!ANY QUESTIONS? Then write me direct at sr71blackbird@embarqmail.com and IF you are serious, and wish to speak with me then I'll throw my cell number your way!ALSO IF YOU LIVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA NEAR THE PACKARD MUSEUM HERE, THEN BY ALL MEANS, LETS MEET SO YOU CAN SEE THE LIGHTS BEFORE YOU BUY THEM!OK? Great,Regards,Daniel Edited December 10, 2011 by 32RockneRoadster made sure shows "for sale" in title (see edit history)
