Hupp36
Hupp producted 5 different models in 1933, is it a B,K,L,F or I. This will narrow the search.
Guest webs
It is a 1933, 3 window coupe, 6 cyl, model B. Is this car rare?
Hupp36
Does this look like the same model of your car? If so please post the serial #. It can be found on the pasenger side of the firewall, under the hood. It should start with the letter B followed by 5 0r 7 numbers.
Guest webs
Yes, with some minor differences. Spotlight on pass side, outside mirror is lower, spare tire cover is painted green, Serial number is B9716. Only 4 numbers.
Hupp36
According to your serial # your car was at the end of the 1933 production run. As to your question of how rare is my car? One of my Hupmobile publicactions lists 4 kown. These are NOT production figures. They are guesstimates We have 2 listed as being owned by members of the Hupp Club. And by the way if you are not a member of our club for the price of a carton of cigarettes you can join the fine family of Huppers.
Guest webs
Its surprising that the factory did not keep production records. I have to confess, this car belongs to the owners husband here at work, who is not active on the computer. I told him that I would look for the switch for him. This car is completely original, rumble seat, interior seats, paint. As to the switch, any ideas?
Hupp36
Tell your friend to join the Hupp club and I am sure he will find the switch he needs.
