Guest geoedgerton
The '40 Special that I recently acquired has a dual point Dyna-Flyte Model 880-D breaker plate in the distributor. According to what I can find on the net, this aftermarket plate was designed for use in 1936 thru 1952 distributors. Currently, there is a single set of "standard" points installed, but I'd like to make use of the increased dwell potential of dual points. However, nobody seems to have the part numbers for the dual points. Anybody out there have any experience on this? philipj
Hello there, Do you have any photos of your set up? Looking for the 880 plate and wondering if the 880-D plate would work with the single points...
