Help...1958 Dodge Royal

When I bought my '66 Buick in '99, the seller had a '58 Dodge sedan, all black with a grey interior. It had 38K original miles, no rust and ran great. It needed paint and an interior as it was all sun baked. He was asking $3500 for it. Probably not relevant to this as it was 12 years ago but I can't imagine that a car in similar condition is worth any more today than back then.

Given the nature of damaged or missing trim and an unknown amount of rust in the driver side rear I say $2,400-$3,000 max if it has a V8 and auto transmission. A Six with manual transmission between $1,500 and $2,000. It's going to cost a bundle to get it back to daily driver condition either way.

Car is located in central SD, not sure on the engine and i don't have the means to restore even though it would be a great project and a beautiful car. Any suggestions on selling it or other sites that might be good?? Joel

If you are the owner and you're trying to sell it you might do some more research and give engine numbers, transmission type, when last on the road, what you know of the history, etc. and offer more photos. Even on the buy and sell forum here it will probably sell if you price it reasonably.
