Guest joelk
can anyone let me know what this 58' Dodge Royal is worth as it sits, 75,000 miles, and engine ran 5 yrs ago, more pictures available, Joel Edited November 23, 2011 by joelk (see edit history)
alsancle
I would guess under 1500. 4 doors and condition may make it less.
keiser31
Way over $1500.00. Probably twice that at least. A lot of it depends on why it was parked and of course, what engine is in it.
Bleach
Is the car in South Dakota? Price would also depend on how much rust the car has.
John_Maine
When I bought my '66 Buick in '99, the seller had a '58 Dodge sedan, all black with a grey interior. It had 38K original miles, no rust and ran great. It needed paint and an interior as it was all sun baked. He was asking $3500 for it. Probably not relevant to this as it was 12 years ago but I can't imagine that a car in similar condition is worth any more today than back then. Guest Jim_Edwards
Given the nature of damaged or missing trim and an unknown amount of rust in the driver side rear I say $2,400-$3,000 max if it has a V8 and auto transmission. A Six with manual transmission between $1,500 and $2,000. It's going to cost a bundle to get it back to daily driver condition either way.
Guest joelk
Car is located in central SD, not sure on the engine and i don't have the means to restore even though it would be a great project and a beautiful car. Any suggestions on selling it or other sites that might be good?? Joel
pacerman
If you are the owner and you're trying to sell it you might do some more research and give engine numbers, transmission type, when last on the road, what you know of the history, etc. and offer more photos. Even on the buy and sell forum here it will probably sell if you price it reasonably.
Guest my3buicks
Put it on ebay, that will tell you what it's worth.
Dave@Moon
My 2009 Price Guides lists this car as worth $4000 if functional/drivable, $2500 as a complete/restorable car. I think those prices are spot-on today. If it were a 2-door hardtop you could almost double those prices.
