Guest Jim_Edwards
It seems I have been forever searching for some sort of drink cup holder for my '50s, '60s, and '70s cars. Anyone who has recently been on this quest knows there is nothing to speak of to be found in any store and is hard to find online. So I thought I'd pass along a source I discovered and from whom I purchased and have now installed an extremely well made, high quality, pleasing to the eye drink cup holder. Image below. This guy is made here in the U.S. and the workmanship is amazing and color selection is wide. These ain't cheap folks but they are well worth their price if you want something that looks good, fits right, and exhibits quality that matches your interior. No, I'm not getting a kick-back or commission.Center Console For Classic Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Vans
D Yaros
Did you get the one that sits on the floor, or on the seat? If the seat model, how does the holding strap attach? How is yours in terms of stability?

How is yours in terms of stability? The model I purchased sits on the transmission hump. As for stability, a lot of thought went into the design and there are grippers that adequately grab the carpeting so it doesn't move. There are actually adjustable wings you can't see that make it possible to deal with humps of varying dimensions. The unit is heavy enough it isn't going anywhere once the grippers have seated in the carpeting. FYI, the cup holders themselves will accommodate 32 oz. cups of both of the more common shapes.Given I'm having heck trying to find a location for a standard DIN radio upgrade in my '78 Lincoln Continental as does anyone having a Ford built product from about 1973 through '79. I'm going to give them a free re-design that would include a radio mounting for single DIN size radios that will still allow the cup holder to fit beneath the dash along with a couple of cigarette type sockets for cell phone chargers, etc.
LINC400
They still have the old style plastic ones at Kmart here. Only in black and grey, but I painted mine to match. This one looks nicer, but mine was only $15.00.What is DIN radio upgrade?
