I see a flat space on inside of spline, but not having any luck in getting everything to align properly. Guest billybird Posted November 12, 2011 Share Posted November 12, 2011 There is a flat spot on the shaft and if it is a correct steering wheel, a flat spot there. Line these up and thats it. Also if my memory is correct, the flat spot on the shaft is raised and the one on the wheel is concave so that the two will mate together. I just went through this last year on my 56.
