karasmer
Any body know with close proximity the shippihg weight of a Model T engine with trans. I stumbled upon a Hertz rental truck full of T parts and four engines. I bought the works and don't need four motors. One has a warford on it. 1937hd45
Two man lift to put in the trunk of a 1975 Ford, but I was younger then.
caddyshack
Just a wild guess. 400-450#I usually use an engine lift or come-along from the rafters to remove them. Two to three guys (young) could lift one out of a truck.

nzcarnerd
A Warford is an auxiliary gearbox for a T I think. Google Warford gearbox.
Guest soldier
Katasmer, A complete model T engine plus transmission is an easy lift for three guys, right off the frame. with one on the crank and one each on the rear mounts. Come to think of it we were about 60 years younger, but I'm guessing the weight at about 300 pounds. Good luck, Soldier.
DavidAU
I have no idea of the weight but you could contact one of the shops that advertise Model T engine reconditioning on the internet and they would have a real good idea of the shipping weight.
