Just acquired all original 1957 four door HT 88, vibration between 50-60mph, wheels tires balanced and true, balanced driveshaft vibration much better, three new u-joints/ only thing to locate to possibly eliminate remenent vibration is a new center bearing and mount. The rubber bearing mount is rock hard form age . Any assistance or guidance would be much appreciated.

any assistance with vibration/center bearing source/wiper motor source or rear window shelf panel replacement would be much appreciated by a proud owner of an estate fine vehicle.

Check with www.steelerubber.com - Automotive rubber parts and weatherstripping for restoration cars, trucks and street rods. . They offer revulcanizing service for motor and trans mounts and may be able to do something for your bearing support.

NAPA can probably get a rebuilt wiper motor. The package tray- try Oldsmobile|Cutlass|442|Hurst|Toronado|Parts -Fusick Automotive Products, Inc or one of the Buick suppliers.

very nice 57 olds 88 charles, i have owned a 57 olds 98 holiday starfire sedan, and a 57 olds golden rocket 88 holiday coupe, both had J-2 carburetion, the 98 had everything except a/c, the 88 had a novi trunk a/c, worked excellent. i had to modiflied the 88's carrier bearing mount with new rubber isolators, this was back in the 1980's. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor.
