1936 Buick 90 bolts

I am in the process of assembling my 1936 Buick 90. I have installed oil pan, Head, Bell housing, transmission. Engine has been installed. My problem is I have 4 different bolt for the remainder of the assembly. On the head of the 1st is "DX", second "H", Various sizes with "B 2" and "1" If any one can spare a few minutes to check bolts on the fan you will probably need a mirror and other areas to see if you recognize the bolts it would help me greatly. Also check the bolt for mounting fenders and horns. Front fender to body. Hood latching bolts on body. Front stabilizer bar bolts. I know I should have put them in marked containers. Thanks

I cannot respond to the letter markings, but the numbers probably are grade marks. See the chart here:

Grade marks on bolt heads was not used in 1936. Some restorers remove the marks from replacement bolts during a restoration.

Good Question. I have seen various B-2 Bolts on my 1937 Buick and they look original to the car. I don't know what the marking means and mine might have been placed in the wrong locations on reassembly.

A suggestion: The letters on the bolt heads indicate the manufacturer of the bolt. Grandpa

On my '36 90, my fan has HC on the bolt heads. B2 is on the hood latch as well as the horns. On my '36 80, the fan and horn has B2 and the hood latch is HC. I try to check the fender bolts tomorrow.
