Guest BJM
I looked at a 54 New Yorker wagon once in Des Moines here where I live. I think they wanted $3500 or so for it, complete. I also owned a 54 NY Newport project. It appears that this seller has pulled the hemi for another project. Too bad in my opinion as hemis are still around. Hope this ends up in an enthusiasts hands. The 55 wagons are not as nice in my opinion because it did not go as well with the start of the forward look direction at Chrysler. But for 54, the "fatter" fenders look great and they used real wood strips in the back area giving it that classic early 50's wagon feel. I agree, it's too far away. I think C49er is up that neck of the woods?
