Hallo everybody.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bohdana. I'm from Ukraine. My boy friend is buick 1938 Special 40 owner. It in neccesary to change front and rear bumpers, door handsets etc. Unfurtunatly he does not speak English. That's the reason I want to help him to find the parts. I wrote to many peoples in USA but nobody could sell bumpers in good condition.

I'm sorry for disturbing you. Maybe members of this forum could help us to buy neccesary parts

Welcome to the forum.

Getting good bumpers will be very hard. And expensive to get to Ukraine. You may have try to adapt a local bumper. Worth putting a "buy" request in Buick - Buy/Sell - AACA Forums

But try Dave Tachency as below. 563 replaces 612 now Links on PreWarBuick - The Largest Vintage Buick gallery on the web - PreWarBuick.com

Unlike many in the USA he will sell parts to people who are not in the USA

The best man on planet Earth for late '30s Buick parts is Dave Tacheny. Believe it! Mail your want list to him at 11949 Oregon Ave. N., Champlin, MN 55316, or call 612-427-3460.
Also try Bob's Automobilia

If you post the frame number, engine number and details from firewall name plate a gentlemen here.,(Dave Corbin, may be able to give information when - where he car was made. Some of us are very interested in Buick straight 8's that are not in the USA
