Anyone familiar with old round 3-1/4" metal Studebaker logo?

It's a round metal disk with the orange Studebaker logo with white raised lettering and 2 small holes near top? I also have one for Dodge - same size and hole configuration, dark blue background with raised silver, red, yellow and blue shield and silver lettering . Kind of like large pinbacks, only they have no pins. I assume they are advertising items? Thanks for any help.

See them on eBay all the time.
