Steve Moskowitz Posted March 4, 2002 Share Posted March 4, 2002 It is my understanding that very soon there will be grey (gray, if you prefer) tires available in non-metric sizes for many if not most early cars! I am sure that black and white tires will still be acceptable in judging but if you are in the midst of restoring an early car this might be a new and better option. It's been noted that some of the 30x3 1/2 tires used on Model T Fords haven't been holding up well. They are manufactured in Vietnam and quality control seems to be lacking.
