Guest Huppnut Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 I finally got the Hup ready for the road (tag and insurance) and made a little video last Sunday on the way to breakfast. It drove great and other than the old lady behind me honking and throwing her hands up (she was late for church...really) had a great time. The question I have though, I installed a temp gauge to get an accurate reading to see if I need a thermostat as I think this car came with one. The temp got up to 160 which is a bit low, so I hunted around and found a housing and thermo for a 28' but the bolt pattern is a bit big (3" center to center) when mine is 2 1/4". Guest Huppnut Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) oops should read Thermostat here's the thermostat less motor in question...UPDATE well okay I found out (Hupp owners manual) thermostat was in upper radiator hose, okay next question, anyone know the temp?
