Guest NikeAjax
Jeff, what is wrong with the one you have, or do you not have one at all?Perhaps Leif and I can help you with yours: I completely rebuilt mine about a year ago.Jaybird
Guest jef1956
Thanks for the reply, about 10 years ago I had problems with the switch contacts and by moving the directional lever I could make the brake come on and off. At that time I found a used one cleaned up all the brass contacts and epoxy filled any burn marks in the phenolic plate and it's worked fine for all these years, now the right turn signal does not work and the two interior indicator blinker lights do not work. I think it is that the switch has corroded or is dirty and if I have to pull it apart and I could fined a NOS part I would put that in.
Guest NikeAjax
Jeff, since you have to take it out anyway... take it out before you buy another one, but have your source lined up! See if cleaning it again will help, I don't expect that that part is going to be cheap or easy to find, but I could be totally wrong!Geez eh, think of all the beers you kin buy with all the money you'll save, like BEAUTY!Sometimes it's good to be cheap, because hopefully you learn something in the process!Jaybird
