PONTIAC1953
hi don, back in 1976, i had my straight eight completely rebuilt, and i installed both the edmunds aluminum finned head and the edmunds dual two barrel carb manifold, after a while, i went back to the stock head and manifold to get the better fuel mileage, mileage with the edmunds was 9 city, 14 hwy, back with stock was 14 city, 20 hwy. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor. carbking
Charles, don't know about the head, but the two carb manifold SHOULD have picked up both power AND ECONOMY. We have built carbs for a few, and they always picked up economy.Call me some time.Jon.
Guest
Well Charles, this is more of what I had in mind. I wonder what the mileage is on this one; http://www.supercars.net/gallery/119513/2464/944706.jpgDon
