Guest Adelaidian
When did Stutz first start using the twin distributor and coil ignition system, and did they stop using the double distributor with the 4-cylinder?What, if any, were the twin distributor device variations by model and/or year? I believe that I have seen some physical differences in the devices even though they were all labelled 'Stutz Delco'.Also, what were the ignition switch variations used for this system by model and/or year? I've seen both the single and double lever switches in photographs. Is there any technical descriptive and maintenance data or restoration data available relating to the twin distributor device? Thanks (and thanks Wayne)Jim
1937hd45
Most of these units found use on Model T Ford based race cars in the 1920's early 1940's. I'd like to find one myself for a future project. More info could be found among the Model T Speedster people. Bob
