Restorer32
Wood for patterns, misc woodie specific hardware. We desparately need to find a '49 Olds Woodie on the East coast that we can photo to help in the restoration of a pair of "basket case" Woodies. Thanks for any help or leads! Restorer32
Yep and if you saw them you know what we are up against. We have reproduced most of the wood for both cars but need more info on the tailgates and misc areas. We are restoring one for a client. The other will eventually be for sale as a project car. All the metalwork will be done.
rocketraider
Check with Mike Fusick Oldsmobile|Cutlass|442|Hurst|Toronado|Parts -Fusick Automotive Products, Inc . I think he has a 49 woodie, it may be a steel 50.Seems like the McElwains in Ellwood City PA had an Olds wood wagon, but it may have been destroyed when that tornado went thru there several years back. See if McElwain Motors is still in business there- they had Chevrolet and Olds franchises.
