Thanks for the previous help on the fuel level sender. Our class is working on restoring a 1926 Buick Master Brougham. We are in need of a few items that we know of right now. I am sure we will need help as we go, and we appreciate all the help we can get. We are in need of a hood for the car. We also would like to get a cover for the spark plugs on the motor. We have a non master one we could trade if that would help. We will probably need to replace the pistons and rings as well. Is there a modern piston that will work, or where are they available? This project is a part of the Gilmore Garage Works which is high school students learning Auto Restoration. It is part of the Gilmore Car Museum in Michigan which is a 501c3 non profit. Thanks again for all your help, Jerry

Jerry,

The Buy/Sell part of this forum and Ebay are your best bets for the parts you need. Egge Machine can provide the pistons and rings you need. Aluminum pistons with modern rings will increase the engine power by about 10% due to the lighter weight of the pistons and lower drag for modern rings.
