Guest My TC Toy
I haven't looked at the backside of the bumper trims yet, but I would like some heads up before I start looking. The trim is bulging off the body in the areas of the side marker lights, mostly above and below the lights. Is this a normal occurance? Has something failed? What is the fix? Guest Moden
Pull the bumper - you will find the metal reinforcements have corroded and because of the rust are growing and seperating.Carfull removal of the rubber trim piece and rust removal is called for - small degree of sucess for this issue.Common for north eastern locations - especially if the car was used in winter.Good luckDennis1989 8V(Ontario - salt belt)
Guest My TC Toy
Thanks for the info. Mine was never used in winter and there is absolutely no rust on the underside or inside panels. I guess, by what you are saying, the attachments were too slight and rusted with only water.
marty14
Black rubber NERFS: One for the front and 3 for the rear. I have these NOS depending on which ones you need.
