Dave_B
Hang in there Larry, you'll get it running. I fought my overheating problem for 20 years before I finally give up on the reproduction radiator core and installed the Master core. I couldn't find a decent Standard radiator to save my life. I accidentally discovered that a Master core would fit in a standard shell. Dave
dibarlaw
Dave: I believe that for 1925 the master is about 3" taller and a bit deeper core. I had the spare 25 radiator recored (since I ruined it's original honeycomb when I tried to clean it)with the heavy duty modern core. That will come later since I will also need to adress the low compression and possible head gasket... Funny that among the few spare parts the previous owner included with the car was a new head gasket! Buicknutty
On my '41 Roadmaster, I had a modern type heavy duty core made for it, as this car is a "nice driver", and I wanted it to run cool, and that it does, even with this hot summer, so far. Also, the modern type of core was about 1/3 the price of a honeycome type.Keith
