Dave@Moon
TRIUMPH TR6 RESTORATION PROJECT | eBayThe (almost certainly frozen) overdrive transmission accounts for about $800.00 worth of the price, and the hardtop might be worth a few hundred if it's still salvagable. Even for a car in the U.K. that's a high price, and this seems an unlikely restoration candidate in any case. Are good restoration projects just getting harder to find these days?
Bleach
No worse than this sad mess of a '49 Ford found in a Belgian forest submitted by HAMB member.
Paul Dobbin
That may not have happened with a good car cover.

Dave@Moon
Sunbeam Tigers sell for stupid money just for the ID Data plates.Yeah, but there were all of 7,085 Tigers produced in a little over 3 years. There were almost 100,000 TR6s produced over 7 years. I love TR6s (I own 2!), but this is a little nuts! What kind of "stupid " money might it be worth?KellyThe parts car book value for a Tiger is in the $1500-1700 range, but that is just a starting point. Unusual equipment (Optional aluminum wheels, original radio, scatter shield, etc.) may up the ante some. If it's complete and restorable you're looking at a $5000.00 car, if it runs even more. A passable driver is a $20K car.
