1957 Lincoln Premiere

Here I go again, just bought another car from the bucket list, a 1957 Lincoln Premier 2 door hardtop. I've never owned a 50s Fin car and this model has always been one of my favorites. I don't have it yet, need to ship it from Washington state to Texas. It looks like a good driver with potential for more and it has the factory air setup in the trunk with the plexiglas tubes coming out of the package shelf. I'd like to hear from anyone who owns a 56 or 57 Premiere and can give me any tips on the car, potential problems, or just your experiences with it. Here are a few pics:

Don,

Congratulations on a beautiful buy -- drive it over to New Orleans - we'll hit the restaurants and backroads together - you can put some "happy" miles on it.

Best of luck with the new toy,

Marty

Looks like a very nice car!! Plus a Lehigh a/c compressor, too.

Ford-Lincoln-Mercury had some very nicely-styled cars back then! Fancy, futuristic, and nicely-done . . . and iconic in many respects. That's one of the few I've seen which only has two doors. I hope it turns out to be as good as it looks like it is!

Keep us posted!
