trimacar
Is it a King Seeley, red liquid in a glass tube? There's a restoration company that specializes in them, if it is, Google it and you should find them.....
Guest MORRISGAUGE
Agreed, it should be a hydrostatic fuel gauge. The fluid is highly corrosive and often eats through the back of the face. It also corrodes and clogs the internal passageways. Make sure your sending unit is intact and that all the tubes are clear, then the airline and then the gauge. The filling and calibration proceedure is fairly intuitive but let me know if you need an instruction sheet printed off.

Guest MORRISGAUGE
It took some fiddling but here is a jpeg of the instruction sheet that we send out with hydrostatic fuel gauges when we restore them. Enjoy.
