Blue90
Anything special abour R&R?It appears an electrical connector squeeze and pull off and then unscrew; of course in an area very difficult to see and work.
Guest Mc_Reatta
Deep socket with a long extension and swivel works well.If the new sensor doesn't have any sealant on the threads I'd recommend you use something. Teflon tape, silicone, permatex, etc. would all work well.

Guest Richard D
Does the sealant, teflon tape, etc., cause any voltage drop from the sensor to the engine block? Or do the threads cut through the tape or sealant? I have wondered about that.Thank'sRichard
harry yarnell
I don't think there's any electrical connection thru the shell. It's a two wire sensor.
