ixlar8
A friend has a 50 DeSoto Coupe that he needs to ship from Chicagoland to San Diego in October. Most of the Posts on the AACA site are dated. Anyone have suggestions??
Jim Cannon
I have personally used uship.com twice now. It was recommended to me by a guy that ships Porsches all over the country,See the link in my signature. You put the specifics of what you want shipped on their web page (size, weight, from where, to where).Transporters bid on your shipment. You decide which service provider you want to use.Brokers will reply (with good low prices).Individual truck drivers will contact you too. This is the path I took. I have had guys that were on the road delivering a car near me. They picked up my car and took it to where it needed to go. I liked working directly with the guy driving the truck. Guest Rob J
x2 what Jim said. I've been using u-ship for a couple of years now, on a number of cars, and other items, all with great results.
